QR menus, done properly
QR menus earned a bad reputation for good reasons. Here's what separates a premium one from a scanned PDF.
The problem was never the QR code
Guests didn't hate scanning. They hated what loaded: a slow, unbranded PDF that had to be pinched, dragged and squinted at.
What a good one does
Opens in under a second, reads perfectly on any phone, remembers language preference, shows photography, flags allergens and recommends what to drink with it.
NFC is the upgrade
A tap target set into the table removes the camera step entirely. It also looks considerably better than a laminated code taped to the wood.
